Church History

History of West Franklin Baptist Church

WFBC started from a seed planted among a small group of 15 people meeting in the home of Jay and Marcia Franks on October 19, 2002. As they continued to meet they sensed God's leadership in establishing a new church in the western part of Franklin, Williamson County, and asked Jim Harvey for assistance.
Nearly a year later an inaugural service was held August 3, 2003 at the spacious New Hope Academy on Downs Boulevard. We were pleased to call it home until moving to our current location on Hwy 96 W in February of 2005.
